Common MAR Issues
Introduction
This article addresses common MAR issues that users may encounter.
Issue 1: Why does the Client not appear in the MAR?
- The Client still needs to be admitted.
- The Client hasn't been given medications yet.
- The medications were given, but:
- A new episode was created on transfer, and the active medication orders are in the previous EOC. To resolve this issue, there are two possible options:
- Move the active medication orders to the new episode of care or;
- Merge both episodes to make sure all documentation is in the same episode. Note: Ask the User before proceeding
- A new episode was created on transfer, and the active medication orders are in the previous EOC. To resolve this issue, there are two possible options:
- Episode_id missing on Inquiry record. <- FREQUENT!
- eie admission is probably causing the issue. NOTE: The episode_id has to be added to the clients and inquiries tables, and the admission_ids may need to be added and should be added.
