The Account > Security > FTP Management screen allows Domain Administrators (DAs) and Security Managers to manage their SFTP password and whitelisting access (access to the account's SFTP based on a list of IP addresses). This screen aims to help prevent data loss, mitigate security risk, and incorporate industry-leading security protocols.
IMPORTANT: While DAs and Security Managers are typically the only users who will have access to this screen, please consult your IT department and/or PMS vendor for special access to this screen and to confirm any changes you would like to make to the SFTP password/whitelisting.
How to resent an SFTP password
If an SFTP password needs reset (i.e., the password has been forgotten/lost, compromised, etc.), the only way to reset the password is by generating a new, automated SFTP password.
To generate a new SFTP password:
