Unveiling Automatic Payment Allocation

We're thrilled to announce the newest addition to our suite of features - the Automatic Client Payment Allocation Module. We've developed this intuitive feature to make your financial tracking more efficient and seamless. With this update, you can easily manage your unallocated client payments and ensure that every dollar is accounted for.

How to Access the New Feature

To access this new feature, navigate to your Financial Dashboard. From there, proceed to "Payments" and then to the "Unallocated Client Payment Bucket."

The New Module and Its Offerings

This module showcases three critical financial data points:

  1. Total Client Payments and Deposits: This displays the complete monetary value collected from the client or their responsible party.
  2. Unallocated Balance: Here, you will find the total amount of money paid by the client that has yet to be allocated.
  3. Total Charges Balance: This indicates the total amount of private pay and patient responsibility charges for the client that still needs to be allocated.

The module also features a comprehensive chart, chronologically presenting the client's services from oldest to newest. As you scroll through this information-rich chart, you will see charges that have yet to be allocated, and this is where the magic of our new feature shines.

How It Works

This Automatic Client Payment Allocation feature allows you to assign these unallocated charges, ensuring accurate tracking of client payments. Once you have allocated the available unallocated budget, the option to allocate will be disabled, signifying that all funds have been appropriately distributed.

The beauty of this new module lies in its flexibility. If you make an error or wish to reallocate funds, rest assured that you can make changes by revisiting the module and making the necessary adjustments.

Who Can Use This Feature?

A point to note is that this feature has been designed explicitly for client pay and private pay scenarios. It does not apply to insurance charges, creating a focused tool for a vital segment of your payment allocations.

At Lightning Step, we're constantly pushing boundaries to provide you with the most effective tools to manage your practice. We believe the Automatic Client Payment Allocation feature will significantly simplify and enhance your financial management process, offering you more time to focus on what truly matters - providing exceptional care to your clients.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and, as always, we're here if you need any support with our new feature!
